  1. When is the AUSMUN conference being conducted?

    The AUSMUN conference is scheduled to take place from Feb 16, 2024 - Feb 18, 2024, at the American University of Sharjah.

  2. Is power provided for vendors' booths during the conference?

    Yes, power will be provided for vendors' booths during the AUSMUN conference. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific power requirements.

  3. What is the registration process for schools?

    The registration process for schools is as follows:

      2. Scroll over the registration tab

      3. Fill in the registration form accordingly

  4. Are there any sponsorship opportunities available for vendors?

    Yes, we offer sponsorship opportunities for vendors at the AUSMUN conference. Please reach out to further explore collaboration opportunities. 

  5. Can schools participate in the conference remotely or virtually?

    Currently, the AUSMUN conference is planned as an in-person event. We believe this provides the best learning and growth opportunities for students attending the conference. However, should you have transportation issues, we can work to arrange accommodations at an additional cost. 

  6. Will there be any workshops or training sessions for participants?

    Yes, we will be organizing workshops and training sessions for participants during the AUSMUN conference. More details regarding specific topics and schedules will be shared closer to the event.

  7. What is the deadline for submitting position papers?

    The deadline for submitting position papers will be January 10th 2024. Please ensure that all papers are submitted by this deadline to be considered for committee discussions.

  8. Can schools request specific committees for their delegates?

    Schools can not request specific committees. Only individual delegates can request specific committees, however, even that is given based on availability and first-come, first-served basis.

  9. Are there any social events or cultural activities planned during the conference?

    Yes, we have planned various social events to enhance the conference experience for participants. Details about specific events can be found in the conference schedule.

  10. What does the registration fee for schools include?

    The registration fee for schools includes access to a specified number of delegates, participation in committee sessions, conference materials, networking opportunities, and refreshments during the conference days as indicated in the conference schedule. 

  11. What does the vendor fee include?

    The vendor fee includes booth space at the conference venue, access to the vendor exhibition area, an opportunity to showcase products/services, and the opportunity to build one's brand. 

  12. What are the normal registration fees for schools?

    The normal registration fee for schools is 300 AED per delegate for registering before the specified date. This fee is applicable regardless of the number of delegates from the school.

  13. What are the late registration fees for schools?

    The late registration fee for schools is 350 AED per delegate. This fee applies to registrations made after the specified deadline. Again, this fee is applicable per delegate.

  14. If I’m an international delegate, will flight fares, visas, and accommodation be covered by AUSMUN organizers?

    No, we have secured subsidized packages for our international delegates which we highly encourage you to apply through. For more information on international delegations please check the International Delegation webpage.

  15. If I’m unable to attend 1 or 2 days of the conference will I still get a certificate of participation/award?

    No, unfortunately, certificates and awards are awarded to those who attend all 3 days of the conference and do not violate the terms and conditions of attending AUSMUN.
